Rules & Polices Empty Rules & Polices

Take a moment to check out the rules & policies, trust that we are zero-tolerant of anything that could be considered offensive. We are here to help you with your problems & ideas too, and even though they may already be loaded and ready to go, be patient, head over to a specific forum and post it up. That way people with similar problems in the future can go to one place to find answers. Please keep the Technical /Troubleshooting / Pictures / etc. talk out of the intro forums and into the forums where all users can find & benefit.

Rules & Polices Empty 49cc bike

Post  Florida Mon Dec 22, 2008 10:55 am

I'm just checking into this, sounds like FLorida has a few restrictions. They require that 49cc and under 2hp assisted bikes/mopeds need to be registered (19.10 annual for which you get a license plate) You need at least a class-e license but no motorcycle endorsement, insurance, etc/

49cc and under 2hp is a bite. I was hoping to get an 80cc with 4 or 5 hp but I understand there are no markings on the engines.

EPA or NOT? does anyone (except a tree hugger) care about epa certified? (pardon me to all the tree huggers out there)

ANyway.. I'm going to build a 1992 Fuji road bike into an 80cc assisted bike. Does anyone have somethign like that already built? Hints?

Hey,
Did you ever put a motor on your Fuji Road bike? How did it turn out? Have any pictures?
Happy Trails,
